Wife shoots husband and police find gun

ATLANTA- A 33-year-old school teacher was shot in the arm by his wife on Saturday during an argument in their front yard, according to the Atlanta Police Department.

The victim, Steven Rumtrigger, was airlifted to Piedmont Atlanta Hospital and is expected to make a full recovery. Police found the gun in a trash can by the driveway, covered with a pizza box and empty beer cans. There were drugs and other guns discovered inside the house with two dogs and one cat. The wife’s name has not been released.

"This is such a shock to me because they are nice people and they were here at my house last week," said Uyen Walters, friend and neighbor.
